Essex Construction Training Group (ECTG) had been running for many years with physical assistance from CITB. Since the re-organisation of CITB/ConstructionSkills, this assistance has been withdrawn and they have offered an annual Grant to help groups to become independent organisations. In mid-2007, ECTG agreed to do this and Essex Construction Training Association Ltd (ECTA) was formed as a not-for-profit company, Limited by Guarantee.
The assets of ECTG were transferred and the new group officially started work in January 2008. Almost all of the 23 members of ECTA, have transferred membership to the new company. As to how it can help you and your company, please go to About Us.
